CASE STUDY

RESTORING A BEACH HABITAT

description

The content of this page is to show the cycles we go through to restore a beach habitat. These photos portray what is entailed from seeding the plants to planting and admiring good work. This beach was destroyed during Hurricanes Francis and Gene in 2004. All installations are not created equal. This particular installation was well planned and involved approximately 20 unique, historically documented species once the complete habitat was installed; fore and back dune as well as adjoining back strand area were inclusive in this project. Private funding was responsible for this installation.
